Trouble conceiving another child?

Trouble conceiving another child?

In China, there is one child policy. Having only one child can be lonely for children. It is better to have 2 or more children. We all have idea about infertility but have you heard about secondary infertility?

This is the case when the couple had no trouble trying to conceive their first born but is now having difficulty trying to conceive another child.

Some people say, “at least you have a child” but we don’t know how sad this will be for those couples experiencing secondary infertility. Pregnancytips.org says that compared to those couples with infertility, couples who have secondary infertility “don’t know what’s wrong” which makes them more frustrated as they don’t know where to start. There are several factors contributing to secondary infertility.

Some couples become lax and didn’t realize that as the woman ages, her fertility also declines.

Her body may not be producing good quality eggs now compared to when they were trying to conceive their firstborn. Secondly, the couple’s lifestyle could be affecting their fertility.

Smoking, drugs, and alcohol are great dangers fertility. When you’re trying to conceive, it’s best to stay fit and healthy. Seek help from your doctor about secondary infertility.

The Jack Daniels Holiday Barrel Tree Comes To Manila!

The Jack Daniels Holiday Barrel Tree Comes To Manila!

The holidays just got better.

Where tradition and family, community and togetherness are already at the heart of this time of year, in Manila we are being treated to a symbol of all these that’s also bound to one man’s independent spirit and belief in what this season is about.

Welcome the Jack Daniel’s Holiday Barrel Tree! A Lynchburg Tennessee holiday tradition that through the years has spread to the United Kingdom and Canada. This year, it is going to be lit in Manila.

The first of its kind in Southeast Asia, the Jack Daniel’s Holliday Barrel Tree is more than just a symbol of the holidays that has traveled the world. It stands for a community that has built a tradition together, this annual tradition started by the men and women of Lynchburg.

That the Lynchburg community would create its identity around the making of Jack Daniel’s is no surprise. Yet the man behind it all, Jack Daniel himself was not one to let them forget about the importance of family and togetherness, no matter the demands of building America’s oldest registered distillery. This could only bring the men and women of Lynchburg Tennessee to create the annual tradition of the Holiday Barrel Tree – made from the very barrels used in maturing Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, a symbol of their hard work and persistence, but more importantly a reminder of the value of gathering together as community and family.

This is what the Holiday Barrel Tree brings to Manila, rising in two locations –in Fuente Circle in Eastwood City and at The Fort Plazain Bonifacio Global City. It speaks of how priceless this time of year is, not because of the rituals of gift-giving and excess, but because we come together for no reason other than gratefulness. It tells us that above all else, gathering merrily with family, friends and loved ones is the reason for this season.

After all, it’s not what’s under the tree that matters most. It’s who’s around it.

Moreover, the event was graced by Mr. Gabriel Fernando, Jack Daniel’s Philippine Brand Manager and Mr. Anthony Ramirez, Brown Forman Corporation Philippine Market Manager who also iniated the lighting of the first and only Jack Daniel’s Barrel Tree in Asia.

Meanwhile, Up Dharma Down performed before the ceremony began.

Gather Merrily.  Drink Responsibly.

‘My Big Bossing’: Vic Sotto’s MMFF starrer is three times bigger this year

‘My Big Bossing’: Vic Sotto’s MMFF starrer is three times bigger this year

“My Big Bossing,” Vic Sotto’s entry to the 2014 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) is expected to create another blockbuster film franchise as the movie brings with it an all-star cast ensemble, three high-calibre directors and excellent production and visual spectacle to complete a trilogy of stories in one neat package of a movie this year.

Easily the festival’s biggest and most daunting competition in the box-office arena, “My Big Bossing” enlists superstars Vic Sotto and Ryzza Mae Dizon, along with Ms. Marian Rivera and Nikki Gil in the cast. Three of the country’s biggest directors helm three different stories within the movie - Tony Y. Reyes, Marlon N. Rivera and Bb. Joyce Bernal.

The movie is the biggest-budget entry in the MMFF race, and boasts of the collaboration of three of the country’s biggest film production outfits: Octoarts Films, M-Zet TV Production and APT Entertainment.

“My Big Bossing” consists of three episodes of fantasy and wonder, each with its own storyline. It features a star-studded cast led by the indomitable Bossing Vic Sotto, MMFF’s all-time box-office king and wonder child superstar Ryzza Mae Dizon in all three episodes.

Episode 1 entitled “Sirena” is directed by Tony Y. Reyes, and features the talents of Wally Bayola, Manilyn Reynes, and Pauleen Luna.

Episode 2 billed “Taktak,” directed by Marlon N. Rivera, is led Marian Rivera and Jose Manalo in the cast.

Episode 3 called “Prinsesa” is directed by Bb. Joyce Bernal, and puts Ryzza Mae Dizon in the spotlight alongside rising child star Alonzo Muhlach, the son of former child star Niño Muhlach, who will play the role of Alonzo’s dad in the movie as well.

“My Big Bossing’ is bigger and grander in scope this year because we are presenting three different stories in one film and each story was filmed independently of each other given that three different directors helmed each episode. No expense was spared in the overall production – costumes, design, special effects - particularly in the fantastical final episode. We just want to give the audience satisfying entertainment value. We want them to enjoy this film as much as we enjoyed creating this for them,” says OctoArts big boss Orly Ilacad.

“My Big Bossing” will be in theaters starting Christmas Day, Dec. 25.
